About MaxWell-Being
A sanctuary for slowing down, reconnecting with your body and restoring balance in a fast‑paced world.
Here, wellbeing isn’t about extremes or quick fixes. It begins with how your body feels, how your nervous system responds, and how fully you can breathe.
We offer a space where movement, stillness, heat and community come together — not topush you, but to support you.
Our Approach
We work with three things together:
Body, Breath and Environment.
Rather than overwhelming the nervous system, we focus on guided movement (like Pilates), purposeful stillness (like sauna and cold plunge), and mindful community — helping your system settle, regulate and integrate.
We don’t rush. We don’t push you past your edge.
We meet you where you’re at, and help you build from there.
Our Story…
Maxwell‑Being began from a simple truth:
Wellness should feel held, steady and safe.
Founder Annie built this space after her own journey through healing and nervous‑system regulation. She saw how transformational movement, breath and supportive environments could be — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.
This place grew from a wish to create a sanctuary where people are welcomed as they are, and gently supported to feel stronger, calmer and more connected to themselves.
This isn’t just a business — it’s a gathering place for people who want to feel more present in their bodies, minds and lives.
The Space
Set in the Hampshire countryside, our yurt, studio and outdoor sauna are designed to feel more like a retreat than a gym.
Here you will find:
• Light‑filled spaces that invite calm
• Natural surroundings that support relaxation
• A slow pace that allows your nervous system to unwind
This is a place where time feels spacious and movement feels intentional — a true sanctuary for your body and mind.
Who We Are For
Maxwell‑Being is for:
People seeking a slow, conscious approach to health
Those who value personal guidance over anonymity
People craving calm and clarity in their bodies and minds
Anyone who wants movement and stillness that feels nourishing, not just busy or repetitive
Whether you’re coming to move, rest, breathe, or simply pause, we invite you to begin in the way that feels right for you.
Meet Annie (Founder)
Hi, I’m Annie — mother, Pilates teacher, sound healer, sanctuary‑maker and advocate for gentle strength. My own healing journey taught me how powerful the body, breath and nervous system are — and how deeply restorative it can be when we finally give ourselves space to slow down.
I built Maxwell‑Being to be a place that feels held, real and welcoming — where you don’t have to perform, just arrive as you are and be supported.
