This retreat is for you if you are looking to slow down, refresh and gently energise into the presence of Spring and all it has to offer.

We shall practise:

  • Yin yoga – mainly supine and seated postures (with the use of props to add more comfort) held for 3 minutes at a time.
    Yin allows for a deep myofascial (soft tissues) release. Increase flexibility and mobility. Joint health, by placing moderate stress on ligaments and tendons. Better focus on breath = nervous system reset and alignment. And many more benefits! 

  • Breath Work – Invigorating breath work to cleanse and purify the body, mind and prana. Leaving one feeling energised, centred and more relaxed. (Helps prepare for the optional cold plunge).

  • Yoga Nidra – yogic sleep. A guided body awareness and relaxation meditation in śavāsana. The body falls into a state of deep relaxation (like being asleep – where the body can heal), however, the mind is still awake and aware of the healing and relaxation.

  • Crystal Singing Bowls – sound therapy! Deeply soothing, powerful and healing sounds of the crystal singing bowls. Each bowl is finely tuned to a certain note that penetrates deep within the body. The sound vibrates in the body, which heals, dislodges any trapped tension and restores equilibrium.

  • Sauna & Cold Plunge – Time to feel cosy and sweat out the toxins in a beautiful modern outdoor sauna followed by an optional cold plunge. The heat relaxes the muscles and increases blood circulation, while the cold, reduces inflammation.

Homemade vegan flapjacks and hot teas will be served to cosy up with next to the outdoor fire pit. A refreshing and welcoming treat after yin yoga, sauna and cold plunging. We’ll share a moment of connection, warmth and gratitude together.
